For me 45 minutes is fine and no problem and for me 2 attempts of 1 outlap, 2 hotlaps en 1 inlap during those 45 minutes is also possible. How to control it?? Simple.... the replay !! We start a 45 qualify at 20.00. The review afterward tells us which racer used more then the 2 attempts of 2 hotlaps and loses 1 ... Racers that can not make it at 20:00 but at the usual 20:30,will still have 15 minutes to put those fast laps on the board. Ok, I'm fine with doing it that way. I probably will not be able to be there right at 20:00 all the time, but since qualifying would last for 45 mins, I should be able to get my 2 hotlaps in. Something I just thought of though, what about the drivers that like to use the time before qualifying as a warm-up session? I don't know about anyone else, but I like to do a few laps, with race setup, to kind of limber up and refresh the track in my mind before qualifying instead of just starting cold. Know what I mean? That would mean more than 1 outlap and 2 hotlaps. I'm not trying to throw a wrench into the works, I'm just pointing out an existing scenario, and wondering how that would work?

could you add a 1 hotlap option, like we had on 2h at the ring last season?

could you add a 1 hotlap option, like we had on 2h at the ring last season? no I can not I had to start a new poll over again but idea is noted !! So if others like this situation more then the once on the poll let us know here, we can count them afterwards. I put 1 line extra at my top text with the number of votes on the idea. Just remember this procedure is the same they have had in F1 and was trashed after 1 season.. Also it is more time demanding, more demanding for the admin, a lot of pressure with every body watching. And the time for it will only increase with the number of racers to come (I hope).
