And Sywix is adjusted. As told we have a new member on board the liveforspeed.be league. The 15 year old racer "SRC S.Fält" from Finland is 1.04sec faster then the World record set on sywix with a 1.03.00 !!!!! Why is he faster, because he uses up all of the track available, so also the grass on the second tarmac part of the track before turing in to the left and when driving a pb in LFS this is not allowed. Of course online this is no problem at all. It is a rally circuit so the grass is part of the circuit. As soon as possible I will put a movie online with that fastest lap so you can all try to adapt to that driving style. He is driving with H-shifter, manual clutch... brbrbrb fast I'm 9 seconds down !!! Only thing is that he can only drive for 7 laps before the tyres are gone.. and we have 15 laps.. increasing the tyre pressure can prevent this of course but then he loses grip and lap time..

How nice! Finish people are too fast normally. I don´t know what drugs they take, but they are gooood!! About the manual clutch and H-shifter. I have recently got involved in a community, which is driving like that. It´s called NARA and is a "philosophy", not a team. F.ex I drive like NARA UNI Cramer, where NARA just tell about my philosophy and UNI is telling about my team. I only drive with NARA in front of my name, when I am actually driving as according to the philosophy. There is a server called "aleajecta NARA" and I can recommend you to go there too, Here, all with NARA in front of their names are racing with as real cars as possible. And there are very nice people there Read here about NARA: www.nara.co.nr/

He is driving with H-shifter, manual clutch... SRC S.Fält, can you tell me, if you really are using H-shifter or is it a keyboard with clutch button, as many uses on rally tracks? I find it really hard to use a real H-shifter (as in real cars) Until now, i have only managed 1.08.xx on Bl2r/xrt with H shifter ..and to SLo Scatter: can You use a H-shifter? If you can, it could be sooo cool Anyhow, I think it could be nice for you to race at the above mentioned server, aleajecta NARA, with NARA, because we race a littlle slower, because of the difficulties with the H.shifter and the clutch pedals. We take our time to do it step by step, because if we rush, we fail. It´s a very good feeling this way. It´s not neccesary for you to race with H.shifter and so, as long as you try to use as little aids as possible. have fun, when you drive, That´s it! Anybody should try this

No humbleridderen, I can't use the H-shifter. Because I'm paralyzed I can only drive using auto gear box. But that is the only aid I use, unless we are driving the F1 cars, and TC is allowed. Otherwise, I don't use steering help, braking help, etc...

In the NARA website is it written: "After many frustrations at the Scoreboards it was aggreed that he who bears the above logo will carry forth the very concept of what racing is all about. I beleive it is about doin it as hard and as honest as you can and feeling the enjoyment of getting it right occasionally lol. not about the fastest time."....and I think that you are doing this exactly as the spirit is here: If you really need auto gear, you really need it, so in my opinion there is no problem for you to go there, if you want. You don´t need H-shifter. I will talk to the author abot changing a bit the text with this example. Not because of you, but your example shows that the text should be edited a bit. EDIT: Rules are later changed, so now you have to use all the manual equipment that you haev and the h-shifter and the clutch PEDAL

My thought also..maybe you should add this link of our forum to your comment.. There you can see the drive setup Scatter is amassing us all with belsimracing.proboards45.com/index.cgi?board=algemeen&action=display&thread=192And I thought to read Scatter is also still driving in real live to ?? And of course that has to be an adjusted car to with of course also auto gear.. And if you think it true, auto gear is most common on the cars in the states..While here in europe I think only 5% is using autoshifting.... On the other hand I don't think it is used in the racing circuit. Altought I think it was used in some seasons of F1.... I can only say I'm very proud to have Scatter on board ! Thumbs up !

I wish I could drive in real life, but I can't. I don't have enough movement to drive a real vehicle...even using special controls. So the driving I do online in lfs, 4x4Evolution, Monster Truck Madness 2, Project Torque, etc...is the only way I have of getting the feel that I'm driving. As for the percentage of auto gears vs. manual here in the states, you're right, we probably have more automatics. But when I was driving before my accident, I preferred a manual shift over automatic. humbleridderen : Thanks for understanding. And you are right. I wouldn't want them to change their philosophy just for me. But, if my example could open a door for someone else in my situation, that's different.

Sorry for writing so much about it here. But i feel like you haven´t understood, what i was really saying. I haven´t been clear, I think. 1. You can come with auto gear and your joystick as it is, because that´s as hard as you can get it..and I have read about you and know your situation more or less. 2. Why I thought about you (also), was because I think, we are slower, when many of us use h-shifter, so if you want to have good and funny races, I think it wil be a wonderful place for you. NARA is about the essense of driving, than the skins, logos and the records, the equipment, The "best" teams, The "best" leagues etc. We drive to have fun and do our best. 3. I drive there, because the spirit is really good there. Good people, good attiitude, no rush etc...come and feel. Read the page: www.nara.co.nr/ again. It has already been re-written. 4. Sorry, if this feels like I want to take people out of here..no no..stay..it´s just meant as an addition to here. I like liveforspeed.be very much and you have one of the nicest leagues that I know..down to earth and sincere.

do you use the G25 H-shifter??? I have tried it over the last days and I think it is really bad.. very often I a; in the wrong gear or even not in it at all... humbleridderen : I hope you don't want to get the drivers out of here . On the other hand it would be nice to make the same promotional remarks over us, over there Because I still dream to organize races with at least 20 members at the starting grid. I also believe that if you become member of a league, members should do there best to be there, primary to other servers. what I mean is that, when I look at sywix, I see a lot of members that haven't been doing the minimum of laps required.. So before driving on other servers, it would be nice if they also did the minimum of laps first and see where they are on the grid compared to the other drivers. Just practiced further today, so I would be more prepared for this evening practice race. Still a lot of work to do.. But the combo is coming more and more alive...

Just practiced further today, so I would be more prepared for this evening practice race. Still a lot of work to do.. But the combo is coming more and more alive... I totally agree. people should practice. And this is also what NARA is all about. Practice, finish races they have begun, take it all more serious, there´s a lot more to it., It´s philosophy..an attitide towards racing. it´s not a league, nor a team.. You can be NARA and race like this in any league and any team...if and when you want. I just tell about there´s a community for this attitude. And you are right about it´s difficult to drive with H-shifter all the time., if that´s what you do...Missing gears and so. Yes, but when others have the same problems, it´s equal and you will be better after some time...But try to nderstand, it´s nor so much about the equipment you are using. More the attitude. People can Also practcie at other servers, but I really mean, that if someone begin a league like this, you should fulfill..If someone is only there as long as they are winning or coming on the podium,,,well..what is it then..just a compensation for not making homework??? If you use a mouse, because you can be without any disturbance from the real cars tendencies and behaviour. Is it really car racing or just an advanced way of playing "live for speed"? I think,. many just try to become winners no matter how they do it. Therefore NARA is for those, who don´t want to cheat, not to win in a dishonest way, letting it be slower maybe, but more real. more like driving real cars and behave as you would do, if you were to a real race. Would you just stop and get out of the car, because you are in 6th position? ..and aboput making promotions to this league...sure...I have already told about this league to many and I can see a future in inviting even more people or to make a common league one day... or inviting all the teams and drivers we know..there´s a lot of opportunities. Now I am just telling aboult this coomunity, so you know, and those, who gets interested, should come and do it with others, but use the attitude in the leagues they are already in. in that way it can only be good for the belgium league. ps. I also have a league going on, UNITY Tuesday Races ( www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=46535 ) I come here because my experience is that it´s not good to be isolated and we should help each others as good as we can

Hi guys! Unfortunately I can't make it to the race tonight. As you'll know I'm an university student, and I have an upcoming exam next week. I study together with a group of other people, and we've decided to study together tonight. So that means no race for me. And to make things worse I'm going home on Christmas vacation on december 20th till January 12th, so I'll miss the two next races as well. This isn't the end of the season I had hoped for, but oh well, nothing to do about it. I wish you all good luck in the remainder of the season, and I'll see you on Blackwood on January 25th!
