That's Friday afternoon for us Knuckles. That means if the race starts at 20:30 cet, it would be 1:30pm cst for me. So that means it will be 11:30am or 12:30pm your time. No problema, I'm retired. Just gotta get permission from the wife.

That's fine SB... no problems.
One more question, are we using the SC, or when you're out you're out?
My guess is that there will not be a SC but I wanted to be clear about it.
cya on the track

Ok.
It sure would keep more drivers in the race. I know I'll probably end up in the kitty litter or in the wall sometime during the race.
My pb is just a 1:20.730, and I felt like I was right on the edge of losing the car at every corner.

Hi all, Memorial Race = SHOW RESPECT Some racers don't take this race serious (dont show respect to Ayrton Senna), i wanted a clean fair race but................they do things that are not allowed. If thats the way it must go in a memorial race I'm off.In the afternoon during the practice session just the same guys that makes this troubles. Sorry but I've got a bad remember race today, in real live in the F1 well race should be over after two laps? is this the way it should be go in a memorial race? sad Sennaboy

showing respect is also .. not to give up !!!!
After the 1 minute of silence my pc thought it could be quiet for the rest of the race.. I had no sound.. So I had to completely shutdown LFS , reconnect, and start. By the time I got out I was already more then 1 lap down... Quiting then would indeed be NO respect for Senna .. know for never giving up!! A thing all grant masters have.. Schummie once started Monaco from last position and ended up front in the points !!! NEVER give up.. So I have started this race with one lap down and ended up 7th and if the race was 1 lap longer I may be would have passed Rasta who I was catching with 6 sec/lap. So 7th out of 18 to start 1 laps down.. I am proud of my self !!
For your case Sennaboy, please watch the replay again... It all starts with a yellow flag.. try to put this in a real live situation.. Yellow flag and the rest of the cars keeps the trouttle on .. so they can not avoid the problem.. hitting it hard .. I was just like the situation with Alonso where he also slammed hard into a crashed car ignoring the yellow flags..

Whaaaw, thx, i've got no respect!!!!!!!!!
ok by me to know that, the only thing you want is some more racers, what we as members telling you is bullnuts in your eyes.only your own ideas are the good things what others say not. and that you ended at a seventh place its easy to explane, 18 racers at the start 7 racers left the server so that easy to say after all i ended 7th. greets sennaboy

Hi All ,
now my comments on all this....
I was ashamed in Senna's place for the lack of respect !!!!! guys came unprepared, not following the rules, not listening, running and starting during the 1 minute of silence.., ignoring the blue flag.. And in all of this I made one terrible error !!!! I trusted the others would respect Senna and in that way respect others to.... But they did not and so I should not have been racing myself.
This race was more like a Demo race with a bunch of rookies then respectable S2 drivers... but it is the admin eating it all for this it seams..
Sorry for the guys who meant it good, but I will not put more time into this race then I did already now.... So I will not review it .. For the racers out there who came to us with a honest memorial thought for Senna.. sorry the admin mest things up for you.. For the racers that came without any respect... thank you for messing this up.
Oh yes we have learned our lesson.. and no we will not give up..Next year there will be again a memorial event for Senna because he deserves it... And I ... I will be watching .. not driving that's for sure.. I just find it very sad to here the organizers get the blame to organize something that should have been something nice, but turned into something terrible due to some losers.

my god, I just watched a part of the replay, that's terrible, cars flying everywhere ! that's just destruction derby ! too much speed and skills difference, and no attention for yellow flags from anyone. but can you really blame the slower drivers, or is it part of the skill to avoid them and not just keep the foot flat down then blame them for being in your way ?!
I'd say ban some of them, and don't let some other join unless they practice some more and read the rules. was there even one single safety car out there ?!

I had an exciting race. Had a very good start, avoided contacts and reached the 3rd. By the 6th lap my LFS printed on the screen that the replay could not be stored anymore and then i lost my connection. As Senna showed use ( ) i didn't give up and quick returned to the race. Then i started the best part of that. I was really secure and started driving really fast. Sometimes i was on the grass, almost had a spin, but certainly i felt very comfortable with the car. Certainly need to thank Senna for all the good things he taught me only through his acts and words. For sure my hero! Wellington
