indeed, there are only a few spots were you can safely pass on that track. forget about chicanes and ultra fast turns opening to solid walls, just take advantage of the slipstreaming effect on the longer straights. the race is long enough, about half an hour for 24 laps...

ow yes, something else: I HATE FBM. thank you for your attention Same here.. Indeed the 2 perfect places to overtake are the 2 long straights. Will practice now some more on this Fxxxxxg combo... Because I hate the Fe3 to..

oddly I find it rather comfortable, maybe because I'm so used to ride bikes and not used to weight transfert ? this car is light and stays flat on the track with excellent grip, very fast turning speed, the only thing you need to get it round a turn is to accellerate. me like.

Same here, if I'm not pushing the front, then the rear is wanting to come around on me. It's especially bad about swapping ends in that chicane after turn 1. IMHO, I think the FOX is more fun to drive.

use left foot braking and keep some gaz, countersteer a little when exiting the turn, be smooth on the gaz when re-accelerating, add some aerodynamic charge (my god who do I think I am to give driving tips ?! )

use left foot braking and keep some gaz, countersteer a little when exiting the turn, be smooth on the gaz when re-accelerating, add some aerodynamic charge (my god who do I think I am to give driving tips ?! ) Braking I do with right foot on, middle pedal (G25). So I think I will have to learn the heel toe technick. But with my race config now possible. No XT the chair still is not in use... But the work on the room is on the move.... ;D Don't understand Xt's explanation... first ..." the only thing you need to get it round a turn is to accelerate." secondly ...."be smooth on the gaz when re-accelerating" Indeed FOX has a lot more grip and invites more to long close battles. But hey, that can't be a reason to not learn to drive the FBM

wellllll.... if you keep a little gaz in the turn once you reach the apex, it will help the car to rotate on its axe. if you stomp on the gaz pedal once you reached the apex, it will help the car to rotate to the point where it becomes uncontrolable and you loose the back.
I think. maybe.

i think we should al learn how to drive hanzi, if you want to learn heel-toe technique, drive a different car like the FZ 50, think first of all this is difficult to realize in the configuration I now use.. Now I have desk chair and wheel in front of me. Sitting to high, the legs or pointed near instead of in front. But I hope to build the race cockpit this year... This should help. Also on youtube nice movies can be found to learn the technic Yesterday I tried different set, i'm not much faster but a lot more stable...SO I hope to keep my gained position a little more longer before I turn the FBM back into a lawnmower machine And yes indeed, I also think we have to learn to drive... On the other hand If I see were I'm getting from.. We already have improved a lot.

I'll just do the best I can with what I have.
I have seen some people say that the setup doesn't mean anything when it comes to going fast...not anyone here, in lfs forum. But that's wrong, the right setup (for your driving style) works wonders for your lap times. If a car feels comfortable to drive you're going to go faster. If the car feels nervous or twitchy, then you are not going to be as fast. So the right setup DOES make a difference.
