there I was, happy as a kid after I re-ordered my office and installed a new pedal stand to have a better position.... then ... the stupid logitech driving force pro gradually stopped working.
at first (like in last race) it didn't recenter after a quick spin. then it would only work on and off, then it seems dead now.
could it be the tranformer? were can I find a transformer ? could it since the light are still on (but that could be the USB line providing the power) how can I test it? what can I test to see if it really is a hardware problem or a software gizmo ? I tried different USB entries and installed the new logitech software, but to no avail.
thanks for your opinion.

does windows detect your device;
if the adaptor is broken; it should still function but without Force feedback can you see it moving in your windows gamecontroller screen; all the way?

still functionning randomly. I can have FF for a lap or two then nothing for a lap or two then it comes kicking in like I was driving on a paved road. on and off. not very efficient for F1 driving. I can still see it in the parameters pannels, but there too, the effects work, or not, from a second to the other. looks like a lose connection maybe ?
I did install a new driver for my sound card and took all connection off to move the furniture around the put everything back in again. maybe I can find some time on friday to open the wheel and blow the dust away :/

I used the "magic puff" technique. open the wheel. blow inside "puff puf" put it back together
tadaaaa. working fine again. we'll see how long.

I don't know Hans, I've seen that method work on a mal-functioning mouse before. Unplug the mouse, blow on the connector, plug mouse back in, mouse works. Who knows??
