my race car won't start. everything is running as should be. rotor is turning in the distributor, belts, gas in the injectors, but no electricity at the sparkplugs... Last time I drove it it ran 4 meters then died suddenly so I guess it's not the spark plug cables. spark plugs, rotor and distributor are new.
any hints?
it' s mint condition mitsu colt GLXI 1600cc/ 16V from **kof kof** 1993.
on another subject. anybody needs a free shelter for chickens? I have one parked outside my home. scrap metal anyone ?

just try and check where the electricity stops, maybe the distr. has a loose connection somewhere, try and start it with a multi meter connected

that's the thingy I do not have... the multi meter... I found anew distributor in a scrape yard but they ask 150€ for it while estimating the whole value of my car at 100€...

if you don't hate being shocked, use your finger. (i sounds silly but i know someone who does it that way, use the back of your finger, so when you get a shock you make a fist (going away from the power source)

Well, mine is 17 years old and I never had any problem either, untill it stopped It's rusted and need inspection and I only used it to go to work in the winter. Since I don't have to go to work anymore, I might aswell save the extra money. the 113hp taxes weren't exactly cheap and I have a couple of ruuning bikes in the garage and the wife's car when I really need it anyway. So it's goodbye concrete dust covered dead coolmobile
