I downloaded and installed Join2LFS. When I click on Server 1 or Server 2 on the home page, I get an Invalid Command Line error. If I copy the href (lfs://|www.liveforspeed.be%20A1|0|S2|/) and go to Start->Run and paste the href in the Run command, LFS starts properly, so the registry must be correct and Join2LFS must be executable. Any ideas?

Did you put Join2LFS in the main LFS directory? Example C:\lfs That lfs forum link I gave you should have instructions for installing Join2LFS as well as questions other people had when trying to use it.
Or, since you know the server name for the lfs-be league, you could just launch lfs and click on "Multiplayer", then click "Join specific host". Enter the password (if one is need), then click the green button in the lower right corner.
That's how I've done it anyway. I sometimes use Join2LFS also with no problems. You can configure Join2LFS to start LFS Relax when it starts LFS also. Maybe the other guys here can give you more advice on getting Join2LFS to work if that doesn't help.

Good explanation Scatter, but I also never had any problems with join2lfs. It is nice if it works, because you can always find the other drivers easily that way, watch on siwix, and with Join2 LFS, you are very fast with them to have some fun !!

Yes, Join2LFS.exe is in the same directory as LFS.exe. I could use the Join Specific Host function, but that means remembering the host name, which is long. lol. It is strange that it works from the Run command but not from the web site. I use Firefox, does that make a difference? I wonder if there is an option in Firefox that I need to set.

Indeed, it is a Firefox issue (I'm using 3.0.1). Firefox formats the href as lfs://|www.liveforspeed.be%20A1|0|S2|/, while IE formats as lfs://|www.liveforspeed.be A1|0|S2|/. It works with IE.
edit And the answer is: go to Tools -> Options, click on Applications. Find lfs, change Action field to Join2LFS.exe. Easy. ;D It is not the format of the href. /edit

Hey SLO Knuckles thank you for the solution !!! On my race pc I use IE , others all Firefox... So I've hadn't had an issue with that. Now I use Firefox more often with all the english typing and the automatic spelling checker of Firefox.

I use Firefox all the time and I never had the issue you had Knuckles, that is odd. But I guess we know what to do if we do have problems now. I also am using version 3 of Firefox.
Thanks Knuck
