Sometimes we see a race having time-outs or lag problems even if they are racing from the same location as another racer not having those problems. What should you look for : - Reset modem, Router, switches before a race (I always do that) It puts you offline for just a few minutes but experience learns me that you should have a far more stable connection.
- Disable Virus scanners or firewall if you do not have a very powerful pc.
- Disable other programs you do not need as Msn, Skype, Quicktime..infact try to shorten the list of icons next to the clock on the bottom right of your screen. most of those icons can be closes to click right on them and chose for "exit" or "close".
If other have more hints.. please post them here If you should have a closed connection you may always rejoin the race. You then start in the lap you were in.
