Hi,
you may check the points calculations for the updated standings. At least my math gives 106 points to [WCL] J.Katila and not 94 like now stands. This will also result some false assumptions written now in the report and would need to be updated to be valid reportage.
Also generally speaking about the reports you should do some content checking not to release false information. Now I'm talking about this FX2 thing what have you mentioned there. I had at least understood that there is no GT2 cars included in the races of this season. From GTR class what I have understood all cars are GT1. Please inform it in race calender if this is not the case.
Then about writing racers names in the reports. I personally find it almost insulting when your name is written wrongly several times in different reports and even in headlines which are published for wider audience in lfs forum. This problem can be easily fixed by doing some content and spell checking before releasing the reports out.
Thx for your understanding, [WCL] J.A.Katila

Errors are possible.. Humans make errors.. If you found them then you can always contact us @ admin@liveforspeed.be .. SO I don't see any problem there. Standing page adjusted. (humor down 10 points, dropped to 90% ) Point 2 : TOTALLY no comment on that one.. The calendar is made up before the season start so you knew exactly what to expect.. (Humor down another 30 points, dropped to 60% ) Point 3 : Searched for some errors .. and found some in race 7.. but did not searched for more.. so If you find some more again, write the corrections to us again.. Oh yes sorry to Harabla for writing Harable and Xtian for writing XTian in the race report.. I've corrected them now. What a frustration.. Humor level dropped another 20 points. Level @ 40% atm ... Now it is my turn .. And I can tell you not my vision only, as we had some complains already.. If I want to talk about your talent.. one word.. Superb..Fast.. calculated.. But as a racer?? I give some of you're stronger points.. Arriving only on Sunday race evenings, never during practice. numberless reminders to speak in English. Never giving advice nor sharing setups. gone as fast as you can after the race, never socializing discussing the race.. Talking before chat channel is over (very unrespectful) Are all above needed to be fast and end up on top ?? No indeed not, but I guess you have forgotten the main rule... !!!!! HAVE FUN !!!! After writing this mail my humor level has dropped below zero.. Thank you ! People talk to people . So If you have ANY problems mail us, before putting all your frustration online.. Our mistakes are not put online intentionally ... Yours on the other hand ...

Hello Jkat and thank you for your friendly constructive message, it is nice to at last have some involvement from you in our community. Please note that we are all volunteers and do all the work as admin for free and even paid ourselves for the servers that you have been using for free for several month now so please note that there's a "donate" button on the front page and that there is no need to address us like we are the taxes administration and we owe you anything. As a second gen' immigrant, I am very sensitive to the difficulties of my fellows to repeat foreigner's name but I stopped feeling insulted a long time ago so i can only advocate that you reconsider your level of self indulgence for our poor report admins, writing the reports takes us several ours every week and sometimes in a busy schedule we do not take enough time to spot all the typos, considering that the 3 of us all use a different language that is a 4th for your. We asked for more help a couple of weeks ago but I do not seem to recall that you offered any. I have been playing this game long enough to remember a time where people would get involved to share a common experience and help each other evolve and increase their skills and not just impose their own superiority, but that was probably another era of the internet as it was a long forgotten time when racer used to respect one another in real life, thank you shumie and other track assassins .So please note that you will be most welcome as long as the respect that we have for you as a participant in our league faces an equal respect for our efforts and for other racers, fast or slow.

Alrighty let me give my 2 cents. First of all you both need to take a chill pill. Katila yes there are mistakes but there is no reason to be so condescending in the way you state things. As for Hanzi, no reason to reply in the same way Anyways so. Most of the issues you have pointed out are my mistakes, let me go through them. #1: Wrong points scores. Yes thats true, my bad. We were notified about this by another racer earlier this week. Ill tell you how that happened. I moved the old table into excel to edit it and assumed it made the additions in a correct manner : Turns out i was wrong and there are mistakes in the points. My mistake, shouldn't trust technology. #2: Invalid reportage of the points. Well... Yes ok a few words might need to be altered (ie. talking about hanzi with 39pts having a theoretical shot at the top), but does this really bother you that much? The main point is that your son is in the lead with only theoretical challengers for the title, why does it bother you so much that there is that one mistake? When i was writing it I was trying to make it a fun thing to read for all, and trying to include as many people as possible, with what I've observed to be the way they race. I do think I succeeded in that so needing to downplay that report seems unnecessary to me. #3: The FX2 mistake Yes yes I typo'd that being used to racing FX2's on the cargame.nl servers. #4: Spell checking. Well firstly I would like some examples of "insulting" mistakes. If you could provide some that would be awesome and I will personally fix them straight away. Is it missing the team tag from your name? I have been searching through the reports and honestly that's the only mistake I can find. With all this said, I will finish with a few points. As I started this message, I will also end it: Yes we (I) have made mistakes, but there is no need to be so condescending. In my opinion, when disregarding the points miscalculation, the issues you bring up are very small, and you seem to be very irritated about them. I would like to point out that we at lfs.be write these reports because we love the racing, and that passion makes us want to bring out and eternalize the action on the track in writing on this website. I challenge you to find another league who does this. Though you may think so it is not a 5 minute job to write that report you see for race 10, and though we love doing it, we still do have jobs and other things we have to commit time to, hence we will sometimes miss mistakes, even big ones. Points mistake, I totally agree that we should've caught. And all the other mistakes I am more then happy to fix, but please, have some respect.

Hi! I have to say that I respect LFS Belgium admins a lot i mean very, very much. They have done nice job many seasons and they`ll do (i hope) it again. Track/car kombination are many times hard to find, the right way make setups for races. The 2nd thing is judge race events. They are looking incidents all sides. This job is very difficult, this is mine opinion. Hanzi and Xtian says justly couple things! Cya on track and let`s keep funny time Ps. I am not against anyone... except on track

I was not planning to reply anymore to this thread but since there is so many various replies I decided to do so.
First of all these really were not so big deal questions, just simple requests to correct some false information which I've noticed when reading reports/news. For the misspellings I should have send feedback from the first report where I noticed some misspelling of names as it was also sent out for larger audience than 20 which Ernest is saying. Talking here about 2nd race report which was published also in lfs forum, and the error is also in the headline, it still is. There is also some misspelling of names still in 5th (also published in lfs forum), 8th and 9th race reports. It really doesn't matter much when it is only visible in small audience but when it's publicly visible for hundreds or potentially for thousands of people it starts to matter, and I and my son are using our real names, not just random nickname.
Not really expected the kind of replies there is but what I can see from them is that there is something wrong in the system you are running.
You say it is for fun, which is also main reason how I have started in lfs and will continue to do so. But it is just not fun when the concept itself is not supporting the fun factor nor the attitude of admins. I guess this is also the reason why the amount of participants is so limited.
But I'm not going to start creating a list of things you should change. It would be better that you think yourself what could be made better. One good way to see how things could be made is to participate some other racing series or leagues. Cityliga is one example which Ernest mentioned or some more casual racing with light admin force like Rony's Tuesday Fun races or Torsdagsraces on Thursdays. In the latter 2 ones you really feel welcomed to race, admining works and is racer friendly, really increasing the fun.
What is sure is that myself and my son (what i have heard him saying) will not participate in this series in future if it remains as it is. I'm also pretty sure that my other team mates are thinking this way.
