Hi! As I mentioned to J earlier today, I came across this thread on the LFS forum. It is a little thing that changes the lighting and reflections of the game. It's not supposed to be very demanding on hardware, so it shouldn't give you a drop in frames pr second. But this may vary. Just download and extract the file in the first post. It doesn't overwrite anything, so if you don't like it you can just uninstall it afterwards. Lots of people are trying to figure out how to adjust the parameters for optimal effect. I think the ones in the original package are too exaggerated. Here is a tweaked version of the file. I just thought you might want to try and play with it. This post contains the instructions about what the different parameters do. Personally I think that, if used carefully, it can make the game look a little less sharp, and therefore not quite as straining on the eyes. Especially for long races...? We'll see.

It looks very nice, and I will sure try it out!! But if it looks les sharp I don't think it is less demanding for your eyes! Instead I think a less sharp image is more demanding for your eyes and brain ! They see an unsharpened image and they only want to do one thing..make it sharper.. so more tired eyes I think. . But the effects look nice. Especially for nice screeshots !!! Thanks for the info ! ;D

Yep, I think it would be nice for screenshots. I have to try it out more to see if I'll keep using it permanently when playing. This guy made a new tweaked version which looks really good IMO. Here are some screenshots, and here are his files. I'll try them later.
