Race results now official with the following extra's : - Incident with Jyeutsch and U4IK ST8 results in start from last position on next race for Jyeutsch. The normal penalty (rule 8.1 and penalty 10.1) is starting last position on next race and drive trough on first lap. But because U4IK ST8 did not have any damage and was not put far behind, the penalty only results in a last start on next race.
- Also warning on Jyeutsch for coming out of the pits to hot and crossing the pit exit line because he lost control of the car.

I had a disappointing race for me. I was hoping to run .58's & .59's, but I couldn't seem to keep my lap times below the 2 min range like I did during the test race. You other guys were smokin though. Great race !!! I on the other hand I think you drove a very strong race. Remember the time... one year ago, where you could not drive a complete race without visiting the pits multiple times?? Now you drove one without a pitstop and this with a difficult combo and long race !!! And even then I could close on you with a max of 1 second per lap .. Somethimes you were running away again. So therefore I needed to drive 28 laps to catch you again after my penalty.. For me you drove a very strong race !! Gratz

Thank you hans. Yes you're right, at least I didn't have to pit 5 or 6 times to repair something on the car like I've had to do in the past. I was just hoping to run better laps than I did though. And that setup we were using helped, because it was very stable to me.

J Yeps Jyuetsch, It is only for the first session of 24 laps, as seen today a lot can change during a race and for a racer like you, it would be easy to drive up front after a few laps.. The penalty is not for taking one out in the first laps but because you did not wait for him and just moved on. That's why we just choose for a small penally.. I hope you can understand this. I realize this is what racing is all about, about taking an opportunity when you see one. But if someone misjudge it, it would not be fair to let the other one to punish for it. So we don't care if there is contact now and then as long as the other is not punished hard by that action. Was a nice race today .. Thanks !! CU on track Hanziboy

Hello Hanzi,
I can/have to live with this, althought it was a normal race accident. But what I think about is the rule for itself. It´s to unrealistic. In real race situations, no real racers would wait until the otherone overtaked him again. Btw he maybe couldn´t know, if it was a little crash (I had no damage on my car) or the overtaked one was so shocked about it, that he lost concentration and the connection.
I think a moderate penalty would be a 20 sec time penalty on the result or a drive through during the race (if seen).
Hope we will find a resolution on the green table!
CU soon

Hi J. I understand that it can be very frustrating and that the penalties seem very important. now when you compare it to the facts, with never more than 6 cars online, it doesn't make a very dramatic difference weither it is starting from the back of the grid, 5 positions down or 20 seconds penalty. So I hope you will not hold any hard feelings. I'm not a big fan of penalties but I must admit that compared to my early days of racing with bsr, I see far less T1 incidents now that in the old days... were there almost always was a car stuck in sand or smashed in a wall at every race's T1 but even if not official, I have seen the policy to let a car pass you and wait for him if you put it in a bad situation in other groups and other races. It IS racing after all but on the other hand, we don't have too much pressure on so let's keep it civilzed
