Hello folks! The past month or so I've been hanging out more and more on the Dead Men Racing server on weekdays. They are a bunch of (primarily) British people affiliated with the Dead Men Walking gaming community. On the server they use Ventrilo to talk to each other, and they're a very nice bunch of people indeed. The main thing is to race clean, fair and "realistically" -- who's winning or loosing isn't that important. On Thursday nights they have so-called "long races", which are one-hour races with full grids on different combos every week. The rest of the week the server is open for practice, just like in this league. I've been participating in three such races now, and I've outperformed my own expectations, so I'm actually leading the league at the moment! Here are the standings. Today I received an offer to become a permanent member of their community, which I've accepted. So what does this mean? It does *not* mean that I will pull out of the liveforspeed.be season. However it might mean that I won't be around too much during the week, and most likely I'll also miss a few practice races. I just thought I'd clear this up. This is *not* a replacement for the liveforspeed.be league, it's an addition. And it's not like I'm leaving you guys "in protest". Just thought I'd explain what's happening, that's all. See you on Sunday! (And tomorrow -- I need to practice!)

Sounds cool Gnomie. They sound like a good group of people. Too bad Thursdays are not good for me, otherwise I might check out the races. For now I'll just stick to this league, and to my occasional CTRA races. That's good to hear that you'll still be racing with us. Cya on the track

.......Today I received an offer to become a permanent member of their community, which I've accepted. Can you still drive with your name on there league of do you need to drive with an official name they give you.Otherwise ..As you make some publicity for them ..here ... you could make some publicity for us ..there. And use the name "lliveforspeed.be_Gn" or something like that. . For me it also is very difficult to spend more time in saring out side the weekends.. practice for other combo's is also out of the question.. Do you need to subscribe before a race..Because If they would drive a combo we already did, then af course... I would not need to practice that much. Keep us informed !!! ;D

They "force" me to use the dMr tag when I'm on their servers, so unfortunately I can't officialy advertise for the liveforspeed.be league there. But I'll be sure to mention it from time to time, so that they can check it out if they're interested! There's no need to subscribe for races, you just have to register on their website and meet up for the races. But normally the server gets full at least 15 minutes before the race starts, so be early! Here are their forums, and the rules for racing are explained here. Next weeks' combo is the FZ5 on Kyoto National Reversed. They normally practice around 8.30 and onwards every night, so if you're interested just come by the server and try it out! And I finally had time to do my 20 practice laps with the BF1 tonight. Man, that thing is a beast..!
