This was great fun! Some really close battles and good fighting! Of course my antivirus kicked in in the third race, which minimzed LFS and kicked me to the desktop. I hit the barrier, but miraculously I survived and was able to continue. I think having three short races instead of just one long is a great idea, and it's working out very well! So much more fun that way. And with reverse grids too! For those who want some more practice with the LX6, Dead Men Racing are having a race at South City Long Rev. on Thursday! Come join! There's normally lots of people online from ~ 20 CET every evening, practicing for the race. Go to Dead Men Racing to find out more. Cya next time!

Yes it was real fun !!! A lot of close and fair fights, but again also some that where not so fair and wit to much risk... I had a very bad first race, making 1 stupid error after an other... 2nd one was better for sure my first start was good, when I was first after a few corners.. But Scatter was not ready yet and I did not see this... 2nd start was disaster but during the race I could gain a lot of places... The 3rd race was the best of all with a lot of beautiful race moments with Cramer. I expected a better place but that meanly because I watch those mirror to much ... 3 races indeed is better indeed to bring more actions and give a lot of racers a e start after a failing start or race. On the other hand I also like longer racers where refueling and the decision to change tyres or not comes at hand.. And the Safety car proves to bring back a lot of action back to the race. Although we did not need one yesterday. We also had a lot of time outs from Wellington. Please read this item on the forum helping you to have a more stable connection : belsimracing.proboards45.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=11&page=1But great applause for not giving up and continue to reconnect. We also have to thank you all for being there yesterday evening (afternoon). It was nice to have 12 racers on track, a full use of track during qualify. Only downside of 12 racers is that the slowest or unlucky ones (connection lost etc) are ending pointless. Off course they claim a minimum of 2 points for being there to the end of the race. So it is very important not to leave on a bad day, but stay and fight for those last points !! Teamspeak also worked nicely !!! was lot of fun talking to you guys. Also nicely quiet until end of race. Next race (as3r) is very long so there is a lot to learn.. So a lot of practice will be needed. Use the server to do so and inform others you will practice that evening, so others could make an effort to join 2. the rule of completing a minimum of 20 laps of practice will be checked on Saturday night.. Make sure you don't have to start at the back of the pack !! Thx for the race fun !!!

Yesterday was a lot of fun. It was great to see 12 racers on the server also. The races, overall, were pretty clean, close fights for position. There were a few incidents where someone would spin, causing a chain reaction pile up. IMHO, incidents like that are sometimes unavoidable when you have close racing like we had yesterday.
The track stewards are still reviewing the races...race reports and points will be posted as soon as they get done.
Congrats to everyone...Great job!!!

I don´t know what happened that day. I didn´t have the footwork feeling for the car, so felt very insecure every time i should change gear and accelerate after a turn. Maybe I had been driving too much other cars. Anyway, there were some good fights with Hanziboy and others DNRT, , J., Gnomie and Towz-T did a good job and hanzi in the last race..just sorry that J. made a not succesfull pass on Hanzi going too far over the curbs in the chicane and losing a bit of control over the car. This resulted in hanzi hitting him in the rear..then Gnomie couldn´t avoid hanzi and hanzi spun and lost a lot of places. This makes me think (referring to the rule of the month, which I don´t agree with) , that it is better to give some penalties for severe mistakes with other cars, than to wait for the one in the gentleman style. Why? because, in the middle of the heat, the car who caused the accident, maybe even isn´t aware of what he did. And maybe it was the other parts fault..could be! I think it´s better to continue and risk a 15 sec penalty in the finishing tiime afterwards. In this way the admin can take the fair decision and pass a penalty to the right guy.

in most of the cases the one causing the problem knows exactly he's gone to far and destroys the other ones his race.. and then I think it is normal you wait. You can indeed wait untill after the race.. we realy hate to give penalties.. Therefor we try to give a warning first like we did with J after the 1st race. It is a pitty it did not help a lot . Because J took me Xtian and made a schummi- villeneuve or daimon hill move on Gnomie that luckily did not work out. For making those errors again, we can not give another warning and go one step further.
Te rule is there because racers would think before they go for the impossible action. Just put yourself in place of the victim that has practiced and loses it all because another tries something...

To come back at this, I have made a video with bad actions made during the first and second race. The main reason we have that rule is because we really do not like to give penalties.. But indeed that is sometimes the only solution. Here some action and see the actions we do not like. We don't say yo may not race or have some contact but can not change into a "driving style" www.youtube.com/watch?v=23NuXwzrLcU&feature=channel_page
