hi yesterday,
we had some nice races with 7 racers. Especially in the mid field we had nice close battles. In front we had 3 very fast guys I could not compete with.
On the other hand I improved my Pb 2 times with a total of 2.5 seconds !! And even then I see a lot of racers have a very different way of taking corners, I could see some closing on me every time on the same corners but then I could get increase the gap again also always on the same but other corners. Put those 2 methodes together and you are with the fast cars up front.
It is a very long circuit and we were gone after the third race. This results in less concentration during the last race and a lot made more errors then they did before. To bring more action into play we added a forced pitstop into the last race. And 2 fast guys came in to hot so the others could gain 2 places.
So the official races will have them to.. so we have 3 X 12 laps with forced pitstop next Sunday.
I still see a lot of racers that have not completed the 20 laps, try to complete at least those this week ! Again if you are planning of having a practice session thsi week, tell it here to the others, for sure others will join.

I think the practice races were pretty good.
I finished about where I figured I would, considering the other drivers at the practice session were faster than me. But that's fine, I just try to run my own race and see what happens.
I too managed to improve my Pb in one of the races, but I'm still 6secs slower than Gnomie...yikes !!!
The 3rd race was a disaster for me. I don't know if it was the change in the laps or what, but I drove really bad. Concentration might have been part of it, but it was not my arm getting tired. I felt ready to do the full 12 laps. But we'll see what happens next Sunday during the official race.
Ok down to some serious stuff here... With the inclusion of Forced Pitstops for the official races we need to emphasize that you can not cross the pit exit line when you leave the pits. I watched the replays last night and several drivers drove straight across the pit exit line when they left the pits. That will add 20secs to your finish time, and could possibly mean the difference of 1 or more finish positions, depending on how close the finish is. So be careful not to drive over the pit exit line when you leave the pits.
cya on the track

I've added a video of some close but fair racing to the article of the practice race on the website. It is recorded during the last practice race last Sunday. Watch how close we all are without pushing and giving enough room to each other. But it is not because you give room, you can't stay close and keeping up to pressure to the other ones.

I have had a very good race yesterday, qualified 4th, but moved to 3rd with Jyuetsch going to the back. After some first corners I was 2nd and could hold on that position during the rest of the 12 laps. The second race was more difficult, starting from the back... and with my handbrake still active ..Is wasn't going anywhere.. So a lot to cache up. I always waited to the last laps to take my Pistop and that was not a good strategy .... Because if i have had taken that pitstop before the Safetycar in Race 2, I would have been much more up front, because the other ones still had to that that pitstop to ...So I stayed 3th in the second race. After the 2nd race we all already had the best part of or physics gone... So the 4th one would be the most difficult one.. And indeed, a lot more little errors, resulting in Power slides, grass moments...this time I took the forced pitstop after the first lap but this time the safetycar stayed in so I could not profit that tactical move.. Otherwise 2nd place would be for me. In stead I've got 4th.. 2,3,4, nice numbers.. I hope to be 3rd overall....
And with the easter vacation we had less racers then normal, so a ideal to catch some points.. On the other hand we had a new member and Yomega coming back.. Nice to have you back and Patyboy welcome !
