I'm glad we could solve it on time. I will let msn online next time before the race so you could yell .. hanzime AT hotmail dot com I had a nice race evening tonight ending 3rd,2nd and 3rd. Ok we did not have a lot of racers, but if I can have that result next time I will be more then happy to limit the damage to 4th in the standings Jyuetsch.. Had around 150 laps today there .. and guess what .. I still hate this combo. It is a matter of search the limit and take some corners fast enough to have the downforce. take it slower and your off. Difficult combo this is . Now I will go to my personal massage palace ...

Sorry if I was in the way too much today. Also, sorry to J for giving him a bump in pitlane... I wasn't sure how long you'd be sitting there, so I was going to the next pitbox when you pulled out. Hope I didn't mess up your suspension too bad. Overall, a bad day for me. I did better Saturday night practicing with Knuckles than I did in the 3 races today. I'm very disappointed in myself. I'll try to do better next week, but it's a very fine line between pushing the car too much and not pushing the car enough. Till next time.

the problem with R3 (for me) is that they get really hot between laps 4 and 6. they get red on the surface - > I spin -> they get hotter -> I spin more -> I damage the car -> I spin even more -> tyre hotter -> flat tyre and car destroyed -> end of the race. r4 stay more consistant if slower. at least you can brutalise a little the car (with lots of TC on) and it slides smoothly.

Can´t remember to were bumped in the pitlane. Thinking you wait there or you are far away ("objects in the rear view may appear closer than they are"), I pulled out of the box. I didn´t had a feeling of a broken suspension. So nothing to be angry about.
My races were almost good and as I expected them with my inability of constant and concentrated driving for such a long time. So I think next week will be harder for me to come through. So I decided to drive with only 75 % fuel, because what ever I do, I need to stop for repairs more often then the minimum of 2 stops to get another full tank. The other advantage is to change tires in the middle of race. With the other strategy I expect a flat tire between the 1st and the 2nd pitstop (more @ the end of the 2nd stint). So I hope to get me out that trouble with this way.

I think I finally got in the rhythm in the second race, ending up somewhere around 4th. It was fun as long as I was not in the grass! I won't be able to make the points-paying race as I will be on the road returning from seeing the International Motorcycle Show (I guess it plays in Canada too) in California. I'm not sure I will be too sad, my muscles were cramped after just 50 laps of practice. Have a good race, all.

@slo_Knuckles : don't set your Force feed back to high on this race.. helps a lot on muscle cramps @ Xtian : may lower the tyres pressure to gain more grip en temperature. Disadvantage is less speed. but can be compensated with a little less downforce.
I stay with the r3's .. indeed difficult between lap 5 -> 10 but reducing speed a little during the left, right sequels controls it not to heat up completely..

I'm gonna fire my pitcrew, they ruined my race, again. I had a good start; but made an error and crashed on L2, senna crashed at the same time; he called in SC; i could continue, but had to much damage to drive on, so when pit was open; i came into the pit. My pit screen said "reapair damage : Yes" but i came in and nothing happened, meaning i had to stop the next lap again, i changed my settings to no and then yes again; hoping it would work, and it did, but comming aout of the pit i lost a lap to the leader, and everytime i came close to unlapping myself and a SC could help me with that. And everytime i came close to unlapping myself i was stuck behind XT and since i was only a tiny little bit faster i coulnd't pas him since i lost to much downforce and grip in the corners (i even lost control completely at one point) i managed to unlap myself at lap 77 Otherwise i might have been 2nd or maybe (with some wishfull thinking) 1st. but, well, thats racing for you; Oh, by the way admins: everytime i saw a yellow flag i slowed down, exept in some turn when the flag cam in the middle of the turn (the 250+ KPH turns only), when i would have eased of the gas there, i would have crashed myself. Also sometimes when someone crashed at the chicane, i got yellow flags only when past the accident, and sometimes none at all. LFS can be strange from time to time

yes, yellow flag can come too late sometimes, I wonder if that has to do with the excessive speed of this car? like you enter the yellow zone and are instantly on the spot of the accident. my bet to keep R4's for the whole race almost worked, but stoopid does what stoopids do, I managed to burn my front left block-braking under the last SC and this tyre blew during last lap. not that I had any chance to catch Jeutsch who was 2 sec faster than me, but with a little help from the SC, it might have work, I think I was about 29 second behind him after 1h45 of race. Maybe I played it too safe because I also added some downforce and my average speed was very low, but it kept me out of the grass most of the race. I want to thank Bluebird and DNR.NL (or something) for taking part in my excellent result last night... by not showing up for the race did I mention I hate this car already?

I loved that car a lot.. when it was standing in the box. I started strong, not to make to many errors a the start like other did. and stayed 2nd for a long time.. but again, instead of playing it save, I kept on pushing the limit and once you make an serious error, they kept on coming.. result way to much pit visits...
Next track seems to be easier.. I hope with a lot less errors.
Indeed thx to DNRT qnd Bleubird not to come and Sennaboy to quit ...So there was damage limitation on 4th Jyuetsch with 5 points.... but now he is only 5 points from my 3rd place.. But if that's the way of having 3rd position I don't like having it.
I would rather be 10th on the standing with a field of 20 racers !!! So I hope to see a lot of racers for the last race of season 5 !!!
