On most tracks the F1 is faster without the the TC. But the risk ...... indeed much higher.

Learned a lot this evening, I could do it with only 2 pitstops and I almost managed to stay in the same lap as Jyuetsch And The R3's held without any problem to the second pitstop, then I replaced them I don't know about the R4 guys, did you swap tyres??

ok, I've watched some parts of the replay and if I see how hot the r4's of Towz-t come I don't think R3's will be an option like he punish them. He also had to change them halfway. And Towz-t had a lot of luck on some crashed to to collect a lot of damage. J drove with the same r4's the whole race.
Again keep your distance during Sc procedures !! Again we had racers driving other off track during SC. Also remember that if you lose it while warming tyres or come into a collision, you have to let the other pass you, rejoining with upcoming traffic is forbidden. So watch out not to hit the grass or each other. When pitlane is open , stop warming those tyres and come closer to each other.. The green flag will soon be given so everybody want to be as close to the leader as possible.

I was driving on R3's hanzi. I didn't realy have a great race. I know you have to change your tires at one point, but i found that on my set the R4s dont get to their right temp and that results in laps that are 1,5-2 sec slower, so changing is the easi thing for me. Normally i should be able to drive thise without any big errors, but today was bit hard, since i was quite tired from my hard weekend

I'm in agreement with Hans on the weaving. It doesn't really help as much as in real life, plus there is the risk of losing control while weaving. And as we saw Sunday, weaving can cause unintentional contact.
Now, time to slap my wrist. I should have taken a different line into turn 1 instead of following Hans. I was really expecting him to accelerate away from me, but he didn't, and I nailed him in the gearbox putting us both in the gravel and a lap down. My apologies Hans !!
I was on R3's the whole race, and changed tires during pitstops. They're ok unless you slide them too much and get the surface of the tires hot, then they are very slippery until they cool down.
Hopefully I will do better for the official race.

I had my first official race win tonight.. I've won practice races before.. but never an official one. Ok luck also was at hand, but kinda thought things would turn out that way with Jyuetsch and Towz-T so close to each other in the last lap.. Although I did not think both would drive of on there own mistake to brake to late and coming to hot on T1. I was glad the race was given back to me that way after I lost it due to a Sc procedure. When Towz-T and Jyuetsch could close the large gap I still had for the last laps. I know both J and T were a lot quicker then me and I even did not try to hold them up during the race.. But I was for sure the only one that could follow there pace a little bit With the result of today.. I'm very glad that at last the victory was mine. Gratz all for the nice race!! And Yes Swammy, things will come back quickly... Just know our server is online 24/7.. So practice is the only thing to do.. and if you know during the day you will drive on an evening, t us know here on the forum..some will always try to join. Cu on track !!!

crappy night again for me. I could often hold to second place, but there was some misunderstanding at the end of a SC procedure when the leader decided to launch it after we already entered the straight and I was still almost stopped at the entrance of the straight when the car behind me was already giving it full throttle, just in case... Before I knew what happened I was in the wall with damage. oh, BTW, sporstsmaship and rules says that when you make a mistake a send someone flying, you are supposed to wait for him to recover rather that hit and run. at the very end of the race I managed to crash in the pitlane... (yeah, I know) and as I tried to dissengage TC to spin the car in the right direction, I dissengaged pitlimiter (yeah I know too). THEN as I made my stop and go, I thought the car would be held in place untill the end of penalty, just like regular refuelling but it didn"t, so I didn't wait long enough (yeah I said I KNOW!!) and got a second stop and go. can't wait for next season to kick in.

All I can say is... I sucked !!!
Everytime I was able to get a good 1st split time I blew it in the following segments. I kept hitting the armco messing up my suspension.
Congrats to hanzi on his 1st official race win !!!

congrats, hanzi I had a huge crash because of my to cold tires (120 is really to slow, because i have to drive without TC to get the heat back into the tires for 2-3 laps). if i wouldn't have to come in and repair i would have won for sure i think, but i had to, and that kinda ruined it for me, also in the last lap, i thought J was going for an inside line, but he came in to hot, forcing him to drive the outside line right in front of me; causing my car to have MASSIVE under steer, en making me go of; to bad this happened. but then again, hanzi wouldn't have won his first well deserved victory
