great !! now that I have some time to play LFS (thanks god I'm losing my job at the end of the month) the stupid wheel died. I tested the AC adapter and it looks dead. anyone have any idea where I can find a new AC adapter for my logitech driving force pro ? (24v / 0.75A) I phoned logitech support but they do not offer these parts. no need to advise me to buy a brand new G27 (see part about the job above).thanks C

Do you know anyone that has an old Logitech that you can scavenge parts from? And there's always ebay for good deals.

well, thank you a millions times for sending to me... BUT .... I get the very same result . I tried to clean it and check every connection but I only had a couple of *bump* and it never even initialised. i can't really decide what to do next, I wonder if it's worth taking it to a electronic repair shop, and where. i am useless when it comes to electronics.

an electronic repair shop will cost you more than a 2nd hand DFP

I suppose it would. are all logitech wheel PC- compatible ? anyone can advocate one model rather than another ? Most logitech wheels are pc compatibel. ( except for the wii wheel) I have a g27 and i really like it. It isn't nois, you get shifther, high quality pedals, shifther light, more buttons then a g25. So i would go for the g27. It is also easy to modify the pedals ,... You can also change the turning degrees.

well, the G27 being around 350€, I couldn't resist and bought a thrustmaster with clutch pedal, 1/3rd of the price. It's defect. when you grab the wheel, you can see it jumping from middle to extreme left. even after testing every config and downloading every drivers and calibration softwares.
that is the kind of karma I have for the moment. f*ck my life.

May be this help: ( im not sure) Unplug the cable (from steer to pc) and unplug the power. Then wait 15 seconds or more then plug cables in pc. Then start up your pc when your on you desktop then plug the power to your wheel. Maybe this helps...

clutch pedal stopped functionning last night ... I used the wheell like what ... 3 hours in total ? I am a little sick about all this. one thing is sure, I will never again in my whole life buy anything from Thrustmaster anymore.
Who needs a 99 coupon for mediamarkt ? No way am I taking home a third crapmaster wheel.
