Tonight we have had the practice session for Race 6 with the Fox on the kyoto ring Rev.
Saw during the pitstop of a lot of guys that they kept on driving on the left to shorten the road with the left turn in the pits.
This is not he correct way to pits. You have to come into the pits in the pit lane... then chose a box, leave the box and go straight back to the pit lane.. so don't drive left over all the boxes.
This can result in a penalty ...
Further more I hope a lot of us find the time to practice !!! We will need it !

I also saw guys crossing the pit entry and/or exit lines. There will be penalties given for crossing either yellow line.

interesting question, I was following Harabla (I think) I saw his car swerve coming out of the pits and just as I as think "hey this would be funny if he'd..." whambham I lost my car, span, crossed the exit line and banged head first in the wall... would that imply a penalty too?... an accidental crossing with a few spins as a bonus ?

I repeat the rule .. 20 sec penalty for crossing the pit exit line (on this track also for pit entry lines) One of the most clear rules we have.. What follows after racers crossed it does not matter or does not effect the rule.. So if you're not sure it will hold... slow down ...

And even after this warning.. Black and Towz-T did not return to the pitlane after leaving the box while taking the most left side possible instead of returning to the pitlane as fast as possible. See rule 7.4. Drive in the outside (or fast lane) pitlane as long as possible before entering the box, don't drive over all the boxes. Also when leaving drive as soon as possible towards the outside (or fast lane) pitlane.both drivers are under investigation..

i never saw rule 7.4 before... but indeed it is there (didn't see this thread either, otherwise i wouldn't have done this).
But if you want to use that rule properly, you can add 20secs to my time for EVERY race i have ever driven with a forced pitstop, since the lines of the previous pit boxes is what i use to brake at the correct time, and i always cross about 5or 6 boxes to take my stop

pit rule was mentioned as more important for this race because the pitlane is extremely long and cutting it will help you gain a small but logical advantage and most of all endanger the other cars. It has been discussed already, I can't tell you when exactly but I remember that we did some MRT race with cones every other box to prevent people from just crossing the whole pit lane straight through the lines. I already said it, I'm not a big fan of penalties and I did not review every pit stop of every car in every race, but I'm pretty confident that Scatter gave a lot of his time doing it for the last race. Should he nevertheless have missed an error (intentional or unintentional) from someone and think you got spoiled, you can always report it as a complain, as usual, at admin@liveforspeed.be and it will be reviewed. Thanks for your help !

And don't say we have never came up with the rule before... remember the cones we used before where you could only enter one box then the not the following box then again the following you could enter?? A system forcing the races to enter the box in the correct way... But that system also was rejected by some racers because it was to difficult to enter the box.. So we did not used them anymore .. But that does not mean the rule does not count anymore.. Also Rules are never changed during a season. And the problem with the boxes was even not in previous season.. So this rule is there already for 3 seasons. but as told, when I see the questions asked just before the race about the number of laps, pitstop or not. I know even the racemail is to long to read.. So I can not think everybody has read the rules.. But that does not mean they are not there.. oh yes.. All races are also online and can be found here : www.liveforspeed.be/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=165&Itemid=84
