I have a few remarks here...
The test race was nice.. BUT a lot of errors against the rules !
2 members were not quiet during the qualify and race !
First of all i did not see anyone talking during the race.
And secondly yes, i said "np" to Kenneth when he apologized for an error. I did not even know "sorry" and "np" were forbidden as well.
In every single league out there words like "sorry", "np", "pi" (pit in) and "po" (pit out) are allowed. After all, it's only good behaviour to apologize after an error. Just like it's only good behaviour to say "np" after someone apologizes for something.
I'm sorry but i don't see the big problem here. I understand that chatting is again the rules because otherwise there there will be to much chatting going on which really affects other racers' concentration but those 4 words should be allowed. If you can't live with that then you can easily press the "-" to block chat. You can even press "shift -" so that everthing (including messages that someone is pitting and that someone drove a new pb) is blocked.
Yep, the lag lap was a disaster. I was riding almost last (only Scatter behind me) and suddently i saw Xtian crashing. Since overtaking is not allowed i waited for him to get back on track so that i could continue my lag lap. But later on i found out that Xtian had the 2nd time in qualy so others must have passed him anyway.
Another remark is that a lag lap should end BEFORE the finish line. In the league race 2 people will be forced to start from the back of the pits. If jyuetsch or me pass some people in that lag lap and the pole sitter drives across the finish line it is possible that the start positions for the race are messed up.
Yep, it was a good race. I started the race and could not understand why everybody was going so slow. After 3 laps the lights on my wheel started flashing then i understood why. I started the race with only 10% fuel on board lol. I moved the wrong slider when i was preparing for the race . So i pitted in and took on 100% fuel on board. I had no idea i could finish the race with that, i also had no idea if my tyres would be able to last this long. I even had no idea if it was possible to drive my car with that setup with so much fuel on board. But i decided to risk it anyway lol.
I had a few problems in the beginning because my car was way to heavy but i got out pretty good. Ofcourse i suffered some damage and when my car got lighter it was almost impossible to drive it because of that damage. But even with that damaged car i managed to drive 3 new pb's.
I must thank Sennaboy for sharing his setup with me after the race. The setup he was using was so much better then mine .
I hope they can hold it out a lot longer during the real race !
I think it is because the combo is very difficult for some. And when you get frustrated it is more easy to get worked up and press the escape button then to stay calm, pit in and try to continue the race.
I must congratulate Scatter here. He did fantastic tho he had big problems finishing the race.
