I'm new to the RB4. I like the way it handles, but I am slower at Aston with it than with the FXO. It seems that it should be faster, as it has a bit more power. Are others finding their times a bit higher as well?

RB4 is a bit slower because it is a bit fat compared to the FXO ;D Just for comparison, the wr time for fxo in as3r is 2.04.870 and for rb4 it is 2.06.760. Anyways, it should give some close fighting thanks to it 4 wheel drive

Here is the basic set I found the fastest so far. The camber still need to be adjusted, but I'm so full of microbes right now I am unable to stay awake long enough to run a full lap on Aston :/ Attachments:

That why I've made it :/ I didn't because it is just a rough basis. I thought it would be wiser to only uplaod good sets on the set up page. A page full of unfinished bad sets would be bad publicity. But if you really want me to uplaod this version ....

Well, glad to hear I'm not just painfully slow in it. And thanks for the setup. But to use it, you'll need to put an underline character after RB4. Like this: RB4_base_AS3R.set
It's a good setup. I didn't check tire temps yet but I like the way it felt. I did 4 or 5 laps with it. Low 2:11s, one high 2.10. I'm about a second or two off my FXO time in the split, and then this heavier car doesn't get going on the long straights as well. But I think I'm up to pace in all the corners except the chicane. That's still slowing me down! Can't figure it out.

i didnt race yesterday but i got in middle 08s with relative ease after only 10 laps or so. i think i can get under 08, into high 07s with the set i use, and thats not as3r set and its quite bad as much as i realized. Im new to rb4, so still dont know how it should actually behave on track, so there is stuff that im doing wrong probably... the set i used is here: www.setupgrid.net/1/setup/hotlap/get/RB4@AS5rbut i plan to put a bit different gearing, suspension, brakes and then see how it goes. Was watching wr replay, he is killing me in chicane :-D
