Hi Race Fans, another Race evening tonight !!! this time at Fern bay gold with the LX4 of LX 6 and thsi for 30 Laps and ... 1 Forced Pitsop!!! Ofcourse you may take that pit stop whenever you want.. But watch out for the exit !! Don't cross the yelow line at the left..The one at the right may be crossed. And I you see think that someone is next to you DON'T go to the extreme left but go straight to the corner. The other racer has to leave enough space in the corner to folow. Quiet Qualify will start at 20u30 CET wath the worldclock for correct time. ( www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=48 ) And please start with a min of 10 second behind the previous racer... So we don't have collisions like on previous race. Qualify is for 1 outlap and 2 hotlaps. "Shift-p" may be pressed on the outlap..Not on the hotlaps. The qualify time is 7 minutes .. so enough time to come out and no need to be close to on another. Stay at the box after you qualify session. Lag lap and race starts after the qualify Paswoord : LX4LX6 (with capitals) Cu all on track !! Hanziboy - Sennaboy

I'm looking forward to this one! Hope there are many racers. By the way... for qualifications, you say we should "stay in the box" after hotlaps. What does this mean? Do we press shift-p after the last hotlap? Can we use little fuel for the qualifications and then fuel up before the race? (so that we don't have to carry 40% fuel or whatever for the qualifications..) See you there!!

No after your 3th lap in qualif you may do an FAST inlap (not to drive in other persons way of drive short behind one... And you drive into the pits and you press shift 3 or you press Shift P after lap 3. Then offcourse you may go in to the pits and take race fuel and config.. so you start with Qualif session fuel and sets for the qualif. If I think of one winner tonight I also think It will be you !!! Put all my money on it ! ;D ;D ;D

It was a very nice race last evening.
I was especially glad with the larger number of drivers.. We started with 8 and lost 2 of the on the first pas of the chicane. That was a lot of bad luck!! But those extra items were placed there the whole week because a lot were cuting there. So we can thell enough to also practich on our server. Also this time there are extra ite;s placed. Mostly they prevent cutting and it takes the challenge a little higher..
I've put all my money on Gnomy and I've won.. to bad I flipt over in on of the last laps.. But then I was an extra challenge for the rest of the racers.
Cu al in 2 weeks for the last race.

It sure was a fun race. Some people say the devs are taking the fun out of this sim with the updates, but I still think this is fun.
That was sometimes a little tricky avoiding hitting Hanzi's overturned car, but like he said, it was another challenge to contend with.
Great race guys, looking forward to racing the MRT.
Cya on the track,

Hi! The race was great fun indeed, and I'm very happy with my first win in the league! It was a tough and close race all the way in, and we had some good fighting for several laps in the beginning. A clean race where people respected each other! And I must say that people behaved very nicely when being overtaken by a lap. All in all a great race!! I'm already looking forward to the next season. Like I said yesterday I'm spending my Christmas holidays at home, which means I can't participate in the last race, but I'll be back in business in the new year. And Hanzi, "devs" is a short form for "developers" (Scavier). See you all next year, and good luck to all in the next race! Have a merry Christmas everyone!

Hey Hanzi, did the server save a replay of the race? I like to watch the race to see where I can improve and also to watch how the guys in front of me did.
And yes, Devs = developers. I was reading a thread in the LFS Forum about how some people think this new update is taking some of the fun out of LFS.
Thanks, Scatter

Thanks, Scatter Hi Scatter, As always ( or most of it) the replay can be found when clicking on the link of the according race in the Calendar section of the webside. Qualify and race are combined in a zip file. And I must say your "getting passed" moves were mutch better this time.. less braking just slowing down a bit !! Verry nice ! This time I also needed to slow down a bit... Cu on track !

I have the replay now. I use Firefox as my primary browser, and it wasn't giving me a link to click. So I checked the calendar using IE, and then the link showed up.
Thanks

In LFS I have set the save replay to automatic. So all races are saved automatically. From time to time you can delete the oldest once, because this "mpr" folder just grows and grows.
