I just have a setup from SetupField. Probably not that good, but it's a start.

my aplogies Old_M but really, nothing I could do. I left some space between cars in case you'd brake inthe chicane, I didn't expect you'd go flying thru the tyre. but don't be sad, it looked really cool

Hello,
I have to apologize too!
My first victim was OLDYoMega, who had no time to move to the other side of the street when I came on the road again after a "green break" in the first lap! Sorry for that!
Secondly Gnomie was very near behind me when I dicided to pit in. I should have come to this conclusion not only 100m before the pits. While he want to pass on the left side, I wanted to pit in left side too. He had a spin and was in pits. Sorry Gnomie!
All in all it was a very very bad race for me and others because only 4 finished! And I´m guilty for that too!
I had no chance to quali, because my system wont reboot as fast as I wanted after the acceleration dont worked exactly.
So I hope for the next race!
Cu on track

No prob Xtian. You had nothing to do with it. It never even crossed my mind that you were to blame. My mind was just not with the race today. Have been behind the computer all day trying to solve connection problems on my wife's laptop. When race started i still had it not figured out. My mind wandered and that was it. The reason why i left was that i was bummed with myself. I had not practised much but i hoped to at least make it to the finish line. To threw it away that early just got to me. I was not in the mood to watch the race. Just went out to a pub and drank a few beers to put it all behind me I did not even know i wrecked your race. So i should apologize...

Terrible race for me too. After 15 laps or so I had a spin and hit the wall, which cost me a very long pitstop and made me drop from 2nd to 4th position. Gradually I was cathing up to J when the pit accident happened. I didn't think you were going to pit there.. But these things happen. The wind really was a huge challenge. I don't want to blame it for my poor performance prior to the fatal crash, but it did cause me to have to change my driving style a lot compared to what I'd done when practicing. It sure added some extra spice to the mix! Again we see that very few racers cross the finish line, and nearly none do so without accidents along the way. It's a pity, really, but what can we expect? I certainly hope next race will be better for all of us. Sadly I don't think I'll be there for the practice race next sunday, but I'll come by the server in the evenings some days to practice!

Well guys, sorry I dropped out so early. I had a power outage on lap 16 (I think). The power was out over an hour. I'll just have to wait for Hanzi to post the replay so I can see what I missed. I really wanted to make it to the finish this time, but it wasn't to be. Cya at Westhill

Not a problem Jyuetsch It happens a bit, what took me out of the race was i went into a Chican too hot, hit the tires and had an awsome flip, thanks to wind lol. If ya have a replay check it out, its funny.

hi all, yesterday was one disaster race. Indeed no gifts on my birthday. I had not enough practice, so I joint around about 19:15 to practice for an our. But then the ISP problem were there again. Sennaboy who live only one block away aso had the same problem. So we knew the problem was not located at our local network but on a network part of out ISP.. I've started the practice as lasts out of the pitbox but mad one mistake after another so I could not set a time... I was not alone in this situation and so I still was not on the last place. The race started very good thank you all for only some little incidents at the first corners. On of those was me who touched SLO_Scatter. He propably did not know I was beside him and he cloed the door completly, I could not break eneough to avoid him. But as admin I tought to give the excample of clean driving so I let everybody pass me until SLO_Scatter was before me. And continued my race. Due to some incidents before me, after a few laps I was already behind Cidioum, passed him but braked to late, jumped but no damage and could continue to race. Also Cidoum braked to late at hited the wall. I was stil behind him, but I think he had damage. so in the next corner he loses control, I try to avoid him and by doiing so I'm a passenge to in my car and the next second I'm on top.. Game over.. and this after just 3 laps....then I go into spectate mode to check the pit exits.. And gave Jyuetsch and Dcke a penalty (drive true) for crossing the yelow line on pit exit. But I forgot most of them had blocked the comment lines. so when the drive true came on there display .. I can imagine it puts you out of concentration completly and so Dcke hitted the wall. My mistake. This did luckely not changed the order of arrival our points. Jyuetsch entered the pitlane for the penalty and on the exit..Indeed again over the yelow line . In total Jyuetsch came into the pitlane 3 times and 3 times he crossed those exit. You were lucky on your last exit not to hit Bluebird because I think he had just taken the checkered flag and was allready slowing dow.. If this was 1 lap earlier.. ... To bad only 4 racers saw the checkered flag and 5 racers get points. Was it because of the sudden strong wind? The combo? Not enough practice?? I think a combination of the 3 factors. I've put out a poll to ask you all what your meaning was about the windy thing. cu all on track !

I'm really sorry if I chopped you off hanzi. I had pitspotter running and it was going crazy telling me someone was on the left or right. I was also checking my mirrors, but I didn't see you. I can't push a button on the keyboard to look left or right, I have to rely on the pitspotter, mirrors, and the map. When you get the replay uploaded I'll take a look to see what I did wrong so I can maybe avoid doing it again.
Congrats to the finishers!

I know that is a really negative point for the G25 !! It only has 2 buttons... on my black momo I have 6!! I now use them for left and right view, clutch, ref limiter, horn and lights. I think I will use the only 2 buttons for left and right viewing and define the other buttons on the h-shifter for the rev limiter, horn and lights. Clutch will then be on the pedal. Cu on track

Replay is online.. And I watched the qualify session again.....
In almost every race mail I repeat the Shift-P rule during the qualify session. But in last qualify session a lot of persons did not feel the need to folow that rule.
Bluebird, Cidoum, Sennaboy, Dcke, SLO_Scatter used SHIFT_P to rejoin the qualify session after they've crashed.
Gratz to OLD_mumhra to stay in the box after you've crashed and to Xtian to continue with a lot of damage.
But indeed that rule is not yet placed on the website.. so here it is..
6.10 During the qualify session, you may only use SHIFT-P during your out-lap. Once you've started your hotlap, or crossed the start and finish line for the first time, you may not use SHIFT-P again to rejoin the qualify session. So using SHIFT-P means the ed of your qulaify session. If you are on a dangerous place please use SHIFT-S to go into spectator mode. 6.11 A qualify session starts with 1 outlap and ONLY 2 hotlaps. After wich you may press Shift-P to return to the box or drive back to the box, but not to compromise another hotlapper
I know some must think rules rules rules.. but all of them are made for 2 reasons: 1. Not to ruin another racers efforts 2.Drive as realistic as possible.

Are you referring to the 1st lap when you and Cidoum touched? You had slowed down, and I was chasing OLD_YoMega. I saw you on the right going slow, so I went for that little chicane. We never touched though, not on my screen anyway. Was I supposed to stop until you guys were going again? I thought I was doing the right thing, sorry.
