Hi , That would indeed be a solution... If we wanted to have a pitlane.. The combo is not difficult.. It is a front driven car with a lot of grip. Also the track only has one dangerous part..If you come in to hot .. IF you don't, then even that is a very easy part of the track .. So It all comes down to one thing.. don't make contact with the wall but also not with others.. Yesterday evening during practice I was ... Again.. hit by you in the corners. I can not repeat enough that it is VERY frustrating when you pass someone by giving the back of the one in front of you a little push so he losses the grip so you can pass.. I know you can always brake to late and can not avoid the car in front of you.. So here some tips... Remember these things in the first corners of a race : - The Brakes are cold
- The Tyres are cold
- The car is the heaviest during the whole race due to the race fuel..
- Less downforce due to slipstreaming.
This all results in one thing .... Larger brake distance.. So be sure to brake a little sooner after the start then in mid race !! So avoid the track and other cars and you will not need the pitlane Realize that even if we should enable the pitlane, you would lose so much time to repair and to drive back to the circuit , other would a least lapped you for minimum one lap... Also know that if you are damaged to much to secure save driving, you can call for the safety car. After a reset your car will be brand new... But ONLY if the damage is that large that safe racing is out of the question. Don't think I have to tell resetting is ONLY allowed when safety car is deployed and you get the command to reset. Resetting without safety car means disqualification for that race.

On a track as short as this one and the number of racers we have lately we should have a constant action, there is no real need to see everyone jump in pits at the end of turn one in case there is a safety car interruption later on. And longer races with no pit stops are a good test before we enter the second phase of the season that will end with very demanding cars on difficult tracks. There really is no need to even try to race a formula V8 for 40 minutes if we cannot manage to race a mini for 25 minutes without crashing into each others.

Yeah, all this because ... how did you put it at the end of the race ? "some noob don't know how to use brakes The Safety car procedure proved to be working fine if everybody knows the procedure and applies it with a little respect. The leader can simply NOT brake in the middle of a straight and go from the expected 90kph to a sudden and unexpected 40kph . Everybody behind will be surprised, resulting in a massive pile-up And also, remember that no passing is allowed under any circumstance under Safety car, and if you crash during a SF procedure, you cannot regain your position, and certainly NOT use the reset. Using the reset without calling for the safety car and without waiting for your turn to reset is not allowed. Never.

Sorry for that braking when sc procedure is on, totally my fault i dont thought about consequences of that. But for me safety car procedure is still not good as can be and not fair. Everyone can heating tyres but no leader. Its hard to defend your position when your tyres are blue or black. And how I can to stop my frustration and focus on my new role 'sc guy' when I have fire in my head, cause I lost my big lead. It was not first time when I made some mistake in this procedure cause I was too frustrated to transform in couple seconds from racer who doing everthing to defed his position to neutral safety car dude. For me still best solution is spectator judge and safety car guy with special sc car. Admin who racing with others needs to search key on keyboard to make sc proc on and can crash someone, maybe im blind but hanziboy crashed on wall week ago when he made sc procedure on.

Theres real SC:
Or maybe we should think about remove this procedure from league. In every race is some problems with sc car procedure despite the fact a totally damaged car after overturn still driving on race track is very dangerous situation. And safety car is most introduced procedure when car on the track cant be removed but in lfs car can be simply removed by shift+s so for what is this prcedue in this league? its not even real casue theres no safety car on the track, its very frustrated leader. And think about name of this procedure "SAFETY car"... I ask where is this safety?

There is only 2 problems when safety car
1. Tyres heating - some guys just heating and doesnt see at all what happens on track, and then next moment - boom crashed. 2. Gap - Some leave such a large gap and then one moment accelerate and next moment brakes strongly...
Watch yesterday race 1 replay - i dont get at the end, where the hell i must be. Some guys passed me (when safety car), then they slowed down and i dont get, can i must take place back or what...
And yeah that xtian video 1 - yes, that driver front of me braked hard and i didnt have to do nothing. Video 2 - 04 Stiven_SLO heating tyres, hes speed is 90+ and doesnt see what happens on the track. And boom, crashed xtian, who car pushed me more and you see video what happens.
When i get +1 hour penalty, or not qualy next round - then i earned that.

Being the leader and tyre heating :I see no problem why the leader can't heat up his tyres.. Only not by braking that hard. When you watch other real live disciplines you will see they warm up those tyres by moving hard left en right. No problem for the leader there. In real live They do brake fro time to time, but only to keep the heat in those carbon fibered brakes.. And keeping the heat in those tyres is not really an issue in LFS. And.. know the rules !! 9.18 No heating up the brakes situations !!!Losing the gap you've made as leader or other racers :Indeed just like in real races, the leader loses when a SC is called.. That is as real as it gets .. Nothing we can do about this.. But is has a major advantage.. Less boring races where a leader always runs aways into a lonely race.. The SC clearly brings back the action, more action, more fights, more race fun. I know this can be frustrated for number one, but I think number 2 and 3 and more happy then number one is frustrated And I'm 100% sure you would be very happy it would be called out when your not in the lead. Leaving gaps :Infact no need to explain this one... KNOW THE RULES !!! 9.13 The leader has to close up to the SC, unless the leader IS the SC, with a max gap of 2 car lengths.Having a racer only for the SC procedure :If you all can accomplish we have a more then 20-25 racers, I would be more then happy to apply for SC driver ! So attract more racers and that wish will be possible !! When to call the SC and Why not Shift-S :The SC can be called in 2 situations. .. One when crashed, upside down.. And second when it is way to dangerous to continue safely. Why not using Shift-S ?? Simple to stay in the race with as many as possible. Again it's not that we have to refuse racers because the server is full so the more cars stay on track the more action we have.. More race action..the more race fun. Safety in SafetyCar ?? If everybody would do the effort to at least read those rules once, there would be no problem what so ever We even mad a little movie about the SC and even that is to much to ask The procedure is VERY safe if you know how to handle with it. And the rules are very common sense. Why should there be a rule, "no overtaking until S/F line??" It's very normal that you can not until you crossed it... And if there is a doubt about a rule.. Just ask.. At last the ADVANTAGES !! We bring back the action in a race. The unlucky one stays in the race. The unlucky one still can collect some points and race experience but may forget front places Oh yes..With next race in mind.. The MRT.. I expect it to come out a few times to ...

We have not enforced the no chatting rule yet (11.7 5sec per chat message during the race is added to your finishing time.), but we may start if some of the racers don't stop with the messages during qualifying or the race.
Case in point, Stiven rolled his car while on his outlap, then types a message twice asking whether he can rejoin qualifying. Xtian didn't answer because he was on his qualifying run, I didn't answer because of the rule that we are not allowed to chat during qualify or the race.
But to answer your question now Stiven.. yes, you could restart your qualify session. You flipped your car while still on your outlap, so it is permitted for a driver to shift-p or shift-s to restart IF they are still on their outlap. Once you cross the S/F line and start your 2 hotlaps, drivers are NOT allowed to use shift-p to restart. If you roll your car during one of your hotlaps you should use shift-p to remove your car from the track as soon as possible. And then your qualifying attempt is over... no restart. (Rule 9.26 These situations do not count in the qualify sessions. There you just press SHIFT-P in the outlap and try again or SHIFT-S in one of the 2 hot laps and wait....)

hanzi i know for second or third guy sc is happy thing in first race when someone called sc i was very excited really i was happy as hell and i ended on the wall becasue that was too much happiness for me ;d but is not a point i say a leader can be frustrated and frustrated guy is not good material for safety car driver in his mind is only 'what i should do to stay on the front after restart'. But nevermind, thats my point of view for this thing.
and thats how can look option with sc guy ;d theres no solution when drivers not respecting rules, that is fact

Everybody can get frustrated, I got frustrated a lot last night too, ending upside down or with busted tyres and suspensions. But honestly, I already have enough reasons to be frustrated in real life, I really don't need a time and money consuming hobby to cause more frustrations. what is the main reason why we spend our time maintaining this league ? for FUN and pleasure and fair racing.. At the end of the day, what's the big steak that causes people to get frustrated and call each others names and try to ruin each other's race ? There's no pride in winning a race by killing your opponent, the only pride is to be a faster and safer racer.
The recipe for a good sporting fun is simply in my opinion: - everybody has the same chance to compete This requires that everybody plays the same game by the same rules and that no race is ended by a disloyal behaviour. And this requires mutual respect.
I know that there's a certain trend nowadays to consider that winning gives you the right to use any mean possible, maybe it is if you are putting your career and revolting amount of money into the race or are defending General Motor or Fiat. But honestly ... Online sim racing !?
Get real. Learn a few rules, cool down and have fun.
