Hi all, I think we can all agree the qualify procedure could be better.. Despite the question of giving each other some room, most of the racers are starting to close to each other.. by driving in the other one his mirrors you are making the other one lose concentration, because he is watching to much in the mirrors and you are slower because you can not see the track to follow because the one in front is blocking your view. We have 3 options..: - We leave it like it is. (although I don't think that is an option)
- We let you launch every 10 seconds. But on smaller circuits this will have no effect.
- We increase the qualify time to 30 minutes. But we start the qualify session 15 minutes earlier.. So we can still start the race at around 20:45 CET. And you still have 1 outlap and 2 hotlaps to prove yo control this combo
So vote and let you voice be heard..

we could even extend it to 40 for exemple, there usually are drivers on track at 8 pm. qualy from 8 to 8.40, race at 8.45 ? now how do we make sure nobody does more than 2 hotlaps? :/

Hi admins,
it looks like you make it difficult, but its so easy. Start qualli at 20.15 and let the fastest racers drive first for 15 minutes, than let the rest of the drivers also for 15 minutes.Don't use sywix but look at !top (server top list) to see who's fastest on track.I think thats no bad idea.
ps: Its also good for the slower racers they can see how the faster guys drive and maybe they learn about it.As admins you can also see who did his practice laps and hans talk ones with me about the other program you can have but you got to pay for it, maybe i will pay it if its a good program that will help us out of troubles

Hi admins, it looks like you make it difficult, but its so easy. Start qualli at 20.15 and let the fastest racers drive first for 15 minutes, than let the rest of the drivers also for 15 minutes.Don't use sywix but look at !top (server top list) to see who's fastest on track.I think thats no bad idea. This means again more work for the admins, a lot of chatting, a lot to watch during the qualify, and less concentrations on admin site to make a perfect qualify lap. And also there you can have a faster car messing it up and give you a situation where you have 2 faster cars close to each other. But name me 1 qualify discipline where are qualify like that?? In formula 1 they had 1 year of a qualify system where you always had no more then one car on track and 1 hotlap. The system was quickly removed again. I think it is at the racer to judge when the perfect moment is to come out. I know in formula 1 they have now a system where only the fastest 10 cars have a go.. But with a system like that we would again have a long qualify time. And we also have to respect a previous poll where 20:30 was the most asked time to start the event. ps: Its also good for the slower racers they can see how the faster guys drive and maybe they learn about it.As admins you can also see who did his practice laps and hans talk ones with me about the other program you can have but you got to pay for it, maybe i will pay it if its a good program that will help us out of troubles That program does not count laps, so no solution there. No, sywix can do the job but i need to run it more frequently. And if the slower drivers have to learn how to drive it just before the race.... I think that is a little bit to late.. The way to practice is to learn more when faster cars are online.. Therefore use the existing tools we provide: The forum to announce you will drive, the new server status tool, the racer status tool.... where you can see who's online and with the lfs.net can find where he is driving. Then you can always ask him to join and help you, and we have the sywix tool..where you can see where and who is online that also has more then 20 laps experience. For me 45 minutes is fine and no problem and for me 2 attempts of 1 outlap, 2 hotlaps en 1 inlap during those 45 minutes is also possible. How to control it?? Simple.... the replay !! We start a 45 qualify at 20.00. The review afterward tells us which racer used more then the 2 attempts of 2 hotlaps and loses 1 ... Racers that can not make it at 20:00 but at the usual 20:30,will still have 15 minutes to put those fast laps on the board.
